Okay, at least go silly and do Nagelvoort for number 20.

It's hilarious.

He's hilarious.

His name is Nagelvoort.

I'd rather have a team full of Nagevoorts than anyone else on this list because everyone on this list would be terrible, but at least a team of Nagelvoorts would be hilarious.

I'll go with the new Finnish player. He might get some call ups this year and get a few games in. I don't think anyone else will ever even amount to that.

Considering his stats last year, he might be higher than #20, name aside.

In no rating system should Moroz be 12 spots below Khaira.

Khaira does look promising in the tiny bit I've seen of him.

I have a "group of 5" that I'm keeping semi-close tabs on...

Chase
Khaira
Moroz
McCarron
Ewanyk

I'm optimistic at least a couple will become NHL players that will "distress" some opponents when they play against them.. probably 4th line type players.

Kessy would have made that a "group of six" to watch but he looks like a dud at this stage.

Bunz must be the guy that's fallen the hardest and farthest... I don't think he'd even make Top 30 now and I'm sure he was in many people's top 10 this time last year.

I guess so. I was the only one who voted for him. He definitely took a step back, but with goalie development things can stall and suddenly improve, and 22 years old is still very young for a goalie.

I'm the same way with Chase. I know he did incredibly well and he's a great story coming out of the seventh round, but based on one season I wouldn't propel him to the top 10 just yet. I don't like raising or dropping a prospect that far and that quickly

These people voting arent exactly scouts. Peter Sarno says junior hockey numbers are a good way to judge talent.

Nagelvoort put up very good numbers as a Freshman at Michigan. He's one of those guys who can be left there for another 2-3 seasons and could be a player.

What? You mean just because we've collectively seen most of these players play less actual hockey than an episode of the Simpsons... we somehow can't be trusted to make astute and clearly insightful rankings of every single Oilers prospect in comparison to each other?

These rankings are gold.

Man at this point it's like throwing darts. The funny thing is a guy like Hamilton who will be 23 and probably be looking at his 200th pro game this year could just come out of nowhere and figure **** out. By no means am I saying he'll turn out, but looking back to the past he wouldn't be the first 2nd rounder that took awhile to develop.

Platzer would likely get more than 1 vote for the #20. He's gotta have a huge year this year to get a contract though.

I was the one vote for Platzer. I had him at 14 on my list. His work ethic and shot are spectacular. He's also a clutch scorer. He's my dark hoarse pick for a guy to carve out a career in the show.
