Defensive respoinsibility?
Bears hibernate half the year, the concept "stay at home" was invented by him.

Ability to generate offense?
Have you seen a bear hunt? They go for it.

Physicality?
He's a bear.

Size?
He's a bear.

Ability to stand up for teammates?
Bears are known to be incredibly defensive for their young. The skills are transferrable.

Generational Name?
Check.

Will he leave in free agency?
Absolutely not. Alberta has a very favorable habitat for bears. The only free agent destination more appealing to a bear would be Minnesota.

Ethan Bear. He's the mammal we want on our team.

Look at this superstar, already experienced in rocking Calgary.

Wait, do we even know what kind of bear Ethan is yet? He might be a panda, lazy, slow and disinterested in the play, only playing hard in contract years for his vital bamboo shoots. You're banking on a grizzly but we just don't know yet. We just don't know!

Voted Iiro.

I think he's got 2nd/3rd line tweener upside. Didn't look out of place as a regular before he got hurt. Wicked shot.

The interesting thing with this list is that in 3 yrs maybe 5 might still be in the system.

Is there a master list of previous years? I'd very curious 5 years ago how things were. Be interesting to see how many games in the NHL guys ranked "x" ended up having.
