I'll go with Moroz.

2-3 years from now ... maybe even 4 he'll probably be a decent 3rd liner, but if he's really damn lucky with his development he could find himself being a 2nd liner.

BTW: I live in China and have never watch an Oilkings game but I've watched Moroz play half a dozen AHL games.

Wow, Andrew Miller gets no love. Older, yes.... but like Acrobello... seems like an NHLer.

I'm going to go way off the board with my dark horses and say Tyler Vesel and Ben Betker. Really like what they've done since being drafted.

Laurikainen quite easily for me. Two solid years in the WHL followed by a great year in Finland. Wouldn't surprise me if he comes in and forces Fleming to do a pretty even split between him and LB in Bakersfield next year.

Doesn't John McCarron become a free agent in a couple weeks if he doesn't get signed?

A handful of games as a 26 year old doesn't warrant much excitement.

He looked competent in the NHL and he was also one of the leading scorers in the AHL in his second pro season. I thought he was a write off after year 1 but he had the kind of season that puts a guy back on track, he's one of the major dark horses in camp and could win a spot if he shows well. Miller could be a second liner, not saying he's a great bet but his resume doesn't preclude the idea of it happening from being rational.

6) Laurent Brossoit - G - OKC Barons - AHL - 49% will be the one that breaks most of your hearts

Are you an expert?

From what i gather you don't know anything special, predicting a prospect to bust is the easy guess. I have no idea why you seem to regard your opinion as an authority on the matter, if you have something interesting or pertinent to offer the discussion please mention it as of now you just seem to be flogging a prospect for no real reason. Is saying why you think this way too much to ask for, if you're so confident he'll bust then why? You seem to want to frame yourself as some kind of expert with inside info. but you always seem to fail at both accounts, have you ever actually called any move, do you actually know anything about goalies where you can just disregard Brossoit's solid career numbers? I just find it odd that you make all these bold claims and never back them up.

From what I've read, John Marino should take some big steps forward this year and next. Also Paigin should be a guy to watch in the KHL. Having a big guy like him to step right in a few years down the line would be awesome for a late 7th if the stars align.

One thing of note is that we overrate the hell out of Yakimov.
