While the Golden Knights continue to build up from expansion, we are entering year 3 in the HFNHL. We are starting to see some of our prospects start to make it into the NHL so our patience should hopefully start paying off with some playoff appearances. However this is not likely to be there year and as a result we are looking to move some players for more prospects and or draft picks.
Paul Stastny 9,000,000 salary expiring somebody that isn't likely to move until closer to the trade deadline for salary reasons, however he could provide a big boost to a contender.
Zach Kassian 1,950,000 salary that's expiring. He's off to a good start in the NHL and could provide some bottom six scoring for a contender as well as some toughness.
Mike Green 5,000,000 salary that's expiring. Not the best defensively but can provide some offence from the blue line and play some PP.
Dan Hamhuis 5,200,000 salary that's expiring. Veteran leadership and strong defensively.
Dylan Demelo 1,017,500 salary expiring. He has decent ratings to fill in a contenders bottom pairing.
Robert Bortuzzo 1,375,000 salary that's expiring. Veteran defender can be a decent addition for bottom pairing or depth.
Mirco Mueller 1,540,000 salary pending RFA. Still young and obviously hasn't matched the potential he once had as a first round pick. Depth/bottom pairing defender with potentially a little upside.
The guys below are purely just depth pieces that could prove to be useful barring injury for contenders, most have decent scoring rating.
