This defense heavy group is lacking a top end C but that could be resolved at this next draft.

Top 10 Prospects

1 Pavel Mintyukov LD ANA
Mintyukov has had a breakout season in the OHL. Dominating the offensive zone while improving his Defensive awareness, he is ready for the NHL. A cross between Cale Makar & Bobby Orr, Pavel should be a 1st ballot Hall of Famer as early as next October.

2 Thomas Harley LD DAL
Harley has been seasoning in the minors this year and has been recently called up to the NHL Pro team. He was an All Star player in the AHL and is expected to be in the Norris trophy race next season.

3 Tyson Foerster RW PHI
After an AHL All Star season, Foerster had a great 8 game stint in the NHL scoring 7 points. This player is likely the next Captain of his NHL team, as early as this off season.

4 Victor Soderstrom RD ARZ
Also starting his Hall of Fame career in the minors and recently called up, he is often compared to Niklas Lidstrom. Soderstrom is more than likely the next greatest Swedish trained dman and Captain of the Swedish Olympic hockey team.

5 Scott Morrow RD CRL
This dynamic defenseman is returning to college for another season in the NCAA. From the same school as Cale Makar, he is often described in a similar tone but will likely take an extra few games longer to reach his NHL potential. He will leave college next season and is already expected to win the Conn Smyth that playoff season.

6 Seamus Casey RD NJD
This small framed defenseman is another dynamic skating offensive dynamo. Somewhat behind the others in this defense heavy top end, lower expectations should be expected. His Norris may be a few seasons later than the others but likely before he exits his ELC.

7 Samuel Fagemo RW LAK
Another dynamic shooting Winger, Fagemo is on the cusp of making his NHL roster. Once they give him some playing time, he is likely the perennial Selke Trophy nominee, much like Bergeron but a little better because he will also be competing for the Rocket Richard.

8 Brett Berard LW NYR
This player is all engine and is expected to take on the Brad Marchand role for Team USA at the Olympics. Patience will be key in this players development as it might take 4 or 5 games before he starts showing his impact on the score board.

9 Ryan Suzuki C CRL
Suziki has been hampered by injuries but is now back at full health and has had an excellent season in the minors. Built much like his older brother, Suzuki is expected to contend for the NHL as early as next season. He may not be a 1st ballot Hall of Famer but likely a multiple trophy winner before his career peeks.

10 Kiril Kudraytsev LD VAN
This player is an offensive dynamo. He is the defenseman version of the Russian Rocket, with end to end rushes and highlite goals. Next season he will work on his defensive game and be ready for the Pro League by 2025.
