Hi guys we could go either way currently and push for the playoffs or build towards next year. Currently we'd like to push for the playoffs so we are mainly looking for a starting goalie top 4 dman and top 6 forward. If we can't get at least two of these we will go the other way. On the block are.

    Saku Koivu
    Erik Christensen
    Adam Mair
    David Perron
    David Clarkson
    Enver Lisin
    Michal Roszival
    Cam Barker
    Brian Elliott

    picks and prospects

obviously depending on how things develop with offers will determine the direction we decide to go and in the end who gets moved.

Also Ovechkin and Ehrhoff could be moved but it would take a huge offer to move either.

Rumors are running rampant that the Hurricanes have 3 trades sitting at the HFNHL head office waiting for approval. One has already been broken by a source from within another organization. Which would see the Hurricanes receive Holmstrom and Hainsey. It is not known what the other two deals are yet, but there is speculation that the Hurricanes have acquired two more potential top six forwards.
