NYI is the big winner of the RFA sweepstakes, How can Ekblad sign for so much less than his NHl deal. If I was nyi, I would be ecstatic with that contract ... Canucks have a great signing Brendan Smith 650(4) ... Maybe fake Dreger can report on the 2nd best offers for Vanek and Brouwer ... I see lots of EDM, TOR, VGK in the 2nd round of UFA ... So if SJS gets JVR at 7.5m is he smart or crazy dumping the 6.66 Pastrnak for 4 nhl ready players and the cap space for JVR? ... Brouwer, 6,000,069 Probably first contract ever for that amount ... Adam Lowry RFA offer was a well placed bet by FLA ...

Great catch on Persson Mike. Same thing that had us void the contract on Petrus Palmu last year too. Have to be consistent here. So all contract offers to Persson are void. He will be eligible to be signed next year when he is confirmed to be crossing the pond.
