McNiven and Pezzetta are the only two I could see getting a significant number of games in the NHL, albeit as role players (4th line energy player and #2-3 goalie).

Maybe in the old NHL Pezzetta would get a look. But unfortunately I’d be very surprised if he ever made it

Why not? He's not a bad skater. If Nicolas Deslauriers is still in the league, maybe Pezzetta can get a look somewhere.

I wouldn't compare Pezzetta to how Deslaurier's AHL career went as he missed more then half of a seasons worth of games last year with just 32 games. He struggled to find his way into the lineup for Bouchard last year after an ok rookie year. Now we'll see if this year he starts to find his way, so far so good but we'll need to see how it goes for him.

He's got the skating, speed, size, strength and physical game. His problem like many in his style of game, they walk a line between being gritty/physical and being dirty. He's taken some really stupid penalties in his time but we'll see if he can learn from it or not. So far he's done just what you would want from a 4th liner but it's very early in the season.
