Went with McLeod. We're not going past 20 are we?
I think if we did we'd be pushing dangerously into the Prospects poll :)

I'm also kind of glad this poll is over. It gets a bit time consuming running one poll, much less two. On the other hand, it leaves us without much to look forward to in the last month before training camp opens. Maybe we should have started the polls a little later to pass the time, or spread them out a little more.

I think the bright side is that at pick 20 there is still an actual NHL player available in Mueller/Carrick along with some prospects that show potential to become NHL players. In recent years pickings at this spot would probably have been even slimmer.

Mueller is not better than Carrick.
I disagree.

It's hard to compare the two as they serve different purposes - almost like comparing a forward to a D and asking who's better, but by all advanced stats Mueller excelled at the defensive side of the game. I think Carrick is OK offensively, and questionable defensively.

The ranking looks pretty good overall, but I can’t help but feel the Bratt-Vatanen duo is really underrated.

Injuries hurt both in this poll.

Subban would be the clear #2 if injuries didn't slow him last year.

Hall was immune to it in part because he was still very good last year in his limited toi.
