Cam York seems to fly so far under the radar for the most part, but carries some bigtime potential. He may or may not ever ultimately get there, but he's got all the talent to be a top flight defenceman in today's NHL. Most of the others here, feel to me like they're tracking/projecting more in line with nice secondary pieces as "realistic upsides".

Podkolzin seems madly underrated to me, he has looked like a future great for a while now, surely should’ve gone off the board before bunch of this year draftees did for example did

Guenther but it really depends who you like over him and Johnson. Once Johnson gets in Bordeleau should not be too far behind. Bordeleau is 10 months older (both 02s) and scored 3 more points than Johnson in 2 less games on the exact same team, with both being freshmen.

I am the lone voter for Harley. He has a terrific combination of size and skating plus the fact that he was second in points and first in goals for all AHL defensemen as a 19-year-old. It seems reasonable he becomes a 10g/25a producer playing on the 2nd pairing in two years.

Should I take it that the bottom 4 lists were all done prior to the 2021 draft, and don't include those players?
