I’m going to go with Kent Johnson here, I believe he has the highest potential out of any player in the 2021 draft.

Add Pinto? Had an impressive run in the NHL (7pts 12 gp) after being a hobey baker finalist and NCHC Defensive player of the year, NCHC Forward of the year, NCHC Player of the year and was a unanimous selection as first team NCHC.

Guy has done nothing but improve since being drafted.

Imusta missed the vote but cant believe Rossi went that high. The guy almost died from a virus that severely impacts your lungs and endurance. No one gonna wait and see if he still has it a bit before they vote him over several other very legit prospects.

Wait and see.... I mean, we either don't rank him at all or rank him based on making it a full recovery. What else can we do?

Those are my next 6 as well, although I'd have Hughes + Clarke a little higher and would slot Jarvis in somewhere.

Just my two cents:
Guenther is Arizona's #1 prospect.. should be in there instead of soderstrom.
Tyson Foerster is unanimously Phili's #1 prospect - sorry Cam
Podkolzin needs to be removed :P
Way too early for Kaliyev

Yes add Pinto

I will start considering him in a few rounds

Guy has done nothing but improve since being drafted.

He decided to pursue a hockey career at a very "old" age and since then, his development curve has been really steep. We actually have no idea how good this guy can be

I know small sample size and everything but I have noticed this recently in Points/60 for forwards with at least 100 minutes at EV :

Player Season Totals - Natural Stat Trick

1 Connor McDavid
2 Artemi Panarin
3 Brad Marchand
4 Auston Matthews
5 Shane Pinto
6 Max Pacioretty
7 Mitchell Marner
8 Mark Stone
9 Leon Draisaitl
10 Jason Spezza
11 Jason Robertson
12 Nathan MacKinnon
13 Mikko Rantanen
14 Marcus Foligno
15 Aleksander Barkov
16 Jakub Vrana
17 Mats Zuccarello
18 Jonathan Huberdeau
19 Carter Verhaeghe
20 Anthony Duclair

Like another poster had noted, Pinto on-ice SH% was higher than the norm though so it will most likely go down, but his efficiency was due to his line not f***ing around and capitalizing on opportunities. His most common linemates were Tim Stutzle, Connor Brown, Nick Paul and Alex Formenton

All that being said, I think his offensive potential is underrated.

Or you take a cautious/realistic approach and assume missing all this time may have impacted his development a bit, even if his lungs are completely fine and dont rank him ahead of a bunch of guys who were comparable to him before he missed that time.

If you're basing it on missing a full season, fine. But Rossi had a better draft year, destroyed the OHL with 120P in 56 gp.... Not many have done that.

Krebs fell a bit due to his achilles but absolutely is a guy I woul rank ahead of Rossi at this point. Krebs was a top 10ish talent before that injury. Since then hes shown he can play very well against men, against the best of his peers in the WJC and absolutely dominate junior. Rossi was also one of the oldest guys in his draft, so Krebs this year is almost more comparable to Rossis OHL season anyways
