What has caused Ryan Suter's fall down in the rankings in the past few years?

One thing that I often note in these listings is that offensive contribution is valued way over defensive one, even for defenders. E.g., guy who basically run away from others in DPS (defensive point shares) statistics last season, isn't even listed.. (that's Lindell, DAL).

Anyways Slavin, Lindholm and Heiskanen next.. Dahlin is still raw, but in few years will be in top 3 of these lists, but his time is not yet.

How does Heiskanen have more votes? Reminds me of Stone. Gets no respect then traded out of Ottawa and he is a super star.

55 points in 70 games minus 12 on a team with a negative 60 goal differential playing 24+ minutes a game and 8th in ppg for d men at 21 years old, number 1 d man on Canada at the WHC. All this with Demelo as his partner. But yeah Heiskanen, Lindholm are better. What a farce.
