Grubauer easily, he should not have lasted this long (although I could see an argument for Crawford if he wasn't having so many health issues lately).

I think there's an argument to be made that the Blackhawks have the two best goaltenders left on the board.

I went with Lehner.

Dubnyk was the worst goalie in the league last year. Stop voting for him.

Gotta go with home boy Dubnyk. There is no relevant challenger except Hellebuyck based on one season.

Hank at 11 is a gift. He is more in the 15-20 range at best.
Agreed. No disrespect to the King, but this was a reputation not results vote.

Grubauer was awful half the season last year. Strong playoffs, but he has a ton to prove before being in the conversation this early.

Quick has only had one bad season on a terrible team. Dubnyk then Quick.

Lundqvist at 11 is weird. I’d take a whole slew of goalies instead of him for next season. Love the King but his time is slowly ending.

Voted Dubnyk here.

Grubauer is easily a top 10 goalie in the league the last 3 seasons if you look at goals saved above average.

This is like textbook using stats poorly.

How much of the past 3 season has Grubauer even been a starter? Parts of two seasons? MAYBE one “full” season if we are being generous and combining parts of two seasons?

The most games Grubauer has ever started in a season is 37, and he was not good for a decent stretch of those games. Not to mention that fact that there are multiple Vezina finalists still on the board.

Grubauer is not currently a top 10 goalie in the league. He was fantastic in the playoff tho, and FWIW I think he absolutely can be a top 10 goalie in the future.

Perhaps homer but I voted Markstrom, feel like he's being underrated a bit.

Was a top 10 goalie last year when looking at some of the advanced stats. Eye test certainly checked out too, perhaps less proven but if he picks up where he left off he'll above some guys considered better right now.

Peter Mrazek and Thomas Greiss must be on HF I see..

How is this a debate? Lehner's on the board. Pick Lehner.

Why is Binnington doing so well in the poll then if people think sample size matters so much? He looked very good in the 2nd half and the cup run but that's half a season as a starter.

Maybe Grubauer won't do as well when he's a complete full-time starter this season, that's true. I can't pretend to know how he will fare or if he'll hold up.

He has been stellar in GSAA the past 3 seasons though and deserves some credit for it.

Binnington has no business getting votes this early IMO. Why is he getting votes? Probably because he just won the Stanley Cup finished 5th in Vezina voting.

For the record, my next 3 in order would be:
Hellebuyck
Quick
Murray

After that, it’s a bit of a toss up. I’m not convinced Lehner is as good as Trotz system and Korn’s coaching made him look last season. Binnington has question marks due to sample size; Crawford due to injuries. Dubnyk is a solid goalie, but I’ve never been a big fan TBH. Raanta has been fantastic when healthy. Jones has always been solid other than last season. Grubauer belongs in the convo at this point as well.
