Probably should vote for Hellebuyck for his body of work over the years, but I gotta say I've been very impressed with Demko since his playoffs series against Vegas. It's a shame the Canucks have been a bit of a mess, I feel like if he had a solid defensive team in front of him he'd be posting some of the best stats in the league.

Probably should vote for Hellebuyck for his body of work over the years, but I gotta say I've been very impressed with Demko since his playoffs series against Vegas. It's a shame the Canucks have been a bit of a mess, I feel like if he had a solid defensive team in front of him he'd be posting some of the best stats in the league.

I also thought about Demko but ended up taking Markstrom even with his Oiler troubles.

I get why Connor Hellebuyck is leading but his season last year wasn't up to par for me.

Went with Demko, there was inner turmoil not choosing both Hellebuyck and Markstrom. I think Demko is pretty underrated.

Markstrom should not go before Oettinger or Demko.

Sutter’s system just doesn’t give up a lot of quality chances. That’s why I wanted the Flames to trade Markstrom this off-season because I think our AHL team bleeds chances and Wolf covered for that team. I honestly think Dustin is almost as good as Marky if not better.

He’s a solid goalie don’t get me wrong he’s just not elite imo.

Or - don't add him at all since expectation is he may not play all year/could be done. But if we aren't considering that and he is included, he's definitely the right choice

I don’t think he was as good as his stats last year, but he was pretty damn good behind a crap defense in Vancouver before last year too. Though I do feel like Demko the last two years was at least as good as Markstrom in Van, and probably more consistent.
