Hawks are pretty bad, they legitimately tried their best right from the puck drop but couldn't beat the Canucks without their top pairing, top 6 forward and both bottom 6 centers.

At least Kane was out so there's an excuse.

The Canucks are 4 to 6 pieces from being a good team.

The Canucks don't have much structure at the moment and pretty much in general. Edler is the top minute man and new lines are not clicking. Lots of arid passing including the forwards.
Canucks shooting high all game. Probably missed 7 shots high.


Still a Win and the they did a lot of good things. Elias creates so much. He must have watched the Sedins. He has patience or knowledge to hold or move the puck before he gets it. He makes things happen.
Jake Virtanen has been a B+ player since the preseason. He has shown speed, takes the puck to the net and is physical. He has improved and his progression is showing in the 2018 season.

The Blackhawks missing Patrick Kane is a Halloween blessing for us Canuck fans! ! Leading goal scorer Get better soon Patrick, the league is better with you thanks for the night off!
