Just so I'm clear, I am not a Sabers fan but my question was more in relation to the other thread. I live in California and I'm a Sharks fan.

There was also a play now where I've seen that called a penalty shot and it wasn't called anything in this game. Weird.

I don't think any player on a team who's going to miss the playoffs by a significant margin should be under consideration for MVP.

Being out of the Kings market, I have listened to quite a few opposing team broadcasts to save my sanity the past couple years.

I'll forever think this is an idiotic stipulation. Say you have 40pts more than the next guy yet miss the playoffs, still going to omit them just because the rest of the team isn't good enough?
