What are they going to do with that capspace? Trade Bouchard for help? That would be the best case scenario, because UFA is just going to be overpaying guys to sign with the Oilers

I don't care how good McDavid and Draisaitl are playing them for 5-6 minute shifts does nothing. If your team is so desperate for scoring that your best players need be to burned out like that needs to be adressed.

And I don't know how sustainable playing them like that is in a shortened season with fewer off days. Seems like a recipe for one of them getting hurt or not being as efficient. This is why the NHL isn't the NBA. You can't win with two players.
