Really? It was probably the most obvious GI call you will see, he is in the paint and contacts the goalie with his skate between the legs and bumps him with his back, both initiated by his own positioning.

I don't think he touched him and he was barely in the paint if at all.. There was no reason for Fleury to be that far out of the net.

The Coyotes player was right on the crease line with the Wild defender holding him there while Fleury steps into him.

The Coyotes broadcast showed it very clearly multiple times, it was textbook. You cannot initiate contact on a goalie in his crease and a goalie has the right to positioning within that crease in an effort to make a save, McBain chose to go between Faber and Fleury then clearly made contact with Fleury at multiple points of his body impeding Fleury from moving within his crease for a save.

Not even a little bit.
No He wasn't held there. Fleury pushed him out of the way and then he returned and moved behind the Wild player. He was at the top of the crease. If he was on the line he should be OK. If he was completely in the crease then the call was right.

Vejdemka blows another one and Kerfoot watches it go in the net. Instead of diving to knock the puck out of the crease.

Another day another 3 pt game for Matthew Tkachuk. Guy is on a tear the past 2 or 3 months after recovering from a broken sternum. Might not be able to catch the top 2 or 3 but top 5 isn't out of the question I don't think.
