Michel Beauchamp
Canadiens' fan since 1958
Over a win ?Back to back after an emotional win they were due for a loss. Ill take 56 shots anyday of the week.
Weird.

I think it depends last night he was a Canadiens fan tonight a Ranger fan
No, he is a Leaf hater before anything.Aren't you a Jets fan?
Big Rangers win and Tavares a -3 plus a Islander win, great Sunday folks.
If the Leafs had heart, grit, and a PP, they would be a contender. Alas, they're not.If the Leafs PP could score different game.. looks like Andersen going to have to play more down the stretch than Babcock would have liked..

Actually Sundin was all 3 stars on the night he passed Sittler for the most points in Leafs franchise history.Sundin got it, when he scored his 500th.
We booed Tavares for you guys
They’re not going to like the playoffs...They were tired 2nd game of a back to back and demoralized putting up almost 60 shots and couldn't score.
Rough game for that guy. But great beard. That was Muzzin.
You’re bitter about it I see.
Hard to predict games today with so many teams on back to backs and starting back up goalies but here goes.
Preds
Canes
Isles
Jets
Bruins
Hawks
Bolts
Rangers (my "upset" pick)
Oddly enough, they still have the #1 prospect goalie and it's not him.
It is one game. The goalie stole on for them as Anderson has done for us on occasion. If the Leafs had heart, grit, and a PP, they would be a contender. Alas, they're not.

I agree, he was amazing and what can I say, he stole the game. Hats off to him! From what I can tell the Rangers didn’t exactly outmuscle, outtough, outgrit, outheart the Leafs.
Even the 1 goal scored required a wicked snipe off the post.
Basically Georgeiv Halak had an out of body experience.
Of course skill matters. But in the playoffs, things are locked down, not opened up. And, grit and determination is often the difference between winning and losing, especially in the playoffs. From what I can tell the Rangers didn’t exactly outmuscle, outtough, outgrit, outheart the Leafs.

I think intangibles, while crucial, are not end all be all.
Outside of the 2011 Bruins and 2007 Ducks, how many other teams loaded up on grit have won the Cup since the lockout?
This isn’t the Dead Puck era- skill does matter since the game apparently is opening up again.
Hot goalies happen.
