Probably not, since they played pretty well towards the end of last season as a second-yar expansion team. If anybody is on the hot seat, it is probably Ron Francis because he hasn't exactly been a wheeler-dealer and Francis will be expected to start making some trades in the off-season to get them to the next level. Whether Francis is even capable of being an effective wheeler-dealer is subject to a lot of serious conjecture.

Just looking at the goal highlights so far (at work and no stream) they look worse than the Yotes did not too long ago.

Caps had a better than expected early season, but, yeah, right now they are having their woes and are really looking old and slow. Probably can go ahead start making plans to be a seller at the TDL.
