Are there any worse announcers than Hayward and Ahlers?
According to them, the ducks never have committed a penalty.
And now they are saying Kozari has it in for the Ducks.

Looked worse then it was. It was a suicide pass and Stajan had his head down to receive the pass.

Aulie wasn't targeting the head either.

These aren't new rules. It's been years. The hitter is the one responsible to not hit someone in the head.

The thing is he tried to avoid hitting the head by crouching down and not exploding upwards and wouldn't have if Stajan didn't have his head down.

That's fine and all, but Stajan's head was down as he was coming across. Going down actually ensured the shoulder hit the head.

I think the misconduct is enough. Direct headshot but it certainly didn't seem targeted, and that's a suicide pass

Or if Stajan kept is head up, Aulie would have hit his chest.

I'd be surprised if Aulie gets a suspension because of that hit.

Again the "or" doesn't matter. It's the hitter's responsibility now and it has been for years.

The person getting hit has some responsibility to make sure he isn't in a vulnerable position aka keep your head up.

Aulie did what he could to make sure that he didn't hit his head.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on this point.

Giroux with the highlight reel goal.

Split the Avs PK after he got the puck in the neutral zone.

How can you have a tripping penalty and a diving penalty.

These refs completely handed it to the Flames. The Oil should have had a PP.
