Unfortunately for us though, we aren't much different from the team that started strong last year, yet failed to score in two straight games against the Caps when it mattered most..

Granted, we've switched some coaches and lines around, and seem to be running on all cylinders currently, but I'm reserving over-optimism for now. If we can keep up this play throughout, I like our chances.

Bet he's managed to buy himself another year thanks to Koskinen, too, unless those wheels fall off in the new year.

Doesn't matter. Nobody's fixing what he's done. The Oilers have no money to spend and no valuable trade chips left. They're locked in to mediocrity for the next few years barring some major prospect development.

Just something special about a fan of a team who was sitting at home after round 1 (yet again) having something to say about a team who's made it to the finals and 2 game 7s against eventual Cup winners in the ECF.
