AROUND THE RINKS

* Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane extended his point streak to 14 games (10-13—23) – the longest by any player in 2019-20. It is the fourth time in his career he has recorded a point streak of 14 or more games. The others: 26 GP in 2015-16 (16-24—40), 20 GP in 2018-19 (17-26—43) and 14 GP in 2013-14 (8-17—25).

* Ryan O’Reilly responded 18 seconds after the Stars tied the game in the third period to help the Blues extend their road point streak to nine contests (7-0-2), tying the second longest run in franchise history (7-0-2 in 2013-14). They sit two shy of the franchise record, established in 1999-00 (10-0-1).

* Brayden Point opened the scoring for Tampa Bay Friday to boost his career totals to 100-116—215 in 249 GP. He required the second fewest games to reach the 100-goal milestone with the Lightning, trailing only Steven Stamkos (194 GP).

* Connor Hellebuyck posted his 16th career shutout (all w/ WPG) as the Jets improved to 10-2-1 in November and sit tied with the Stars (10-2-1) for the most wins this calendar month. Hellebuyck’s 16 shutout performances sit second to Ondrej Pavelec (17) in Jets / Thrashers history.

* Pekka Rinne turned aside all 31 shots he faced to record his 58th career shutout (all w/ NSH). Since Rinne entered the League in 2005-06, Henrik Lundqvist (63 w/ NYR) is the only goaltender with more.

* Gustav Nyquist netted his second career regular-season hat trick (also Feb. 2, 2014) as the Blue Jackets earned their fifth win in seven contests. The 30-year-old forward registered the NHL’s 22nd hat trick of 2019-20.

You know a guy is good when he's close to tying a record set by someone as amazing as Pavelec!

Same, always loved bright colored pants so watching Rangers-Devils in these uni’s is pleasing to the eye.
That color scheme(with the green added of course) should be adopted full time by a team...like Seattle.
