Today will have a big impact on the Atlantic.

You got Calgary vs Buffalo 2 teams struggling hard right now but somebody has to win.

You got Toronto and Tampa who are both 1 point back of Montreal and 3 back of Florida.

Speaking of Florida they have Washington tonight.

This is a BIG night for Atlantic fan bases

PREVIEW OF TODAY’S ACTION

Twenty-six teams are in action across a 13-game slate on Wednesday, with multiple players looking to build on their strong monthly totals with four days remaining in November.

* The duo of Connor McDavid (12-12—24) and Leon Draisaitl (4-19—23) have combined for 47 points in the month of November – the top-two point getters since Nov. 1. It is the fourth time both players have recorded 20 or more points in the same calendar month (also Oct. 2019, March 2019 and December 2018).

* Prior to the four instances by McDavid and Draisaitl, the previous time multiple Oilers recorded 20 or more points in the same calendar month was Mark Messier (8-18—26 in 13 GP) and Jari Kurri (7-15—22 in 13 GP) in January 1990.

* Overall, McDavid has reached the 20-point mark in a calendar month seven times – only Wayne Gretzky (48x), Kurri (20x), Messier (14x) and Paul Coffey (14x) have done so on more occasions with the Oilers. Draisaitl has reached the 20-point benchmark in a calendar month four times.

* Rangers forward Artemi Panarin has recorded 7-13—20 in the month of November, recording at least one point in 11 of 12 appearances so far this calendar month including eight multi-point outings. The last time a Rangers skater reached the 20-point mark within a calendar month was March 2012 when both Brad Richards (7-15—22 in 17 GP) and Marian Gaborik (10-10—20 in 17 GP) did so.

* Senators forward Jean-Gabriel Pageau has scored 10 times in November, ranking second behind McDavid. He sits three goals shy of matching the most by a Senators player in a calendar month (Daniel Alfredsson: 13 in Nov. 2005). Additionally, it has been almost 13 years since a Senators player scored 11 or more goals in a calendar month, with Dany Heatley the last to do so in January 2007.

I haven't watched the last two Flames games but I'm definitely watching this one. Maybe what's happened will be the catalyst for the Flames to turn their season around? Good luck to Geoff Ward in his NHL HC debut. Go Flames.

Lol. Detroit apparently puts the lyrics to the National Anthem on the screen.

"O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?"

Leafs with one of those gimme wins.

Maybe the Red Wings could at least make it close.

We're still isolating Zadina and Athanasiou with 4th liners that can't help them create offense, rather than putting them together.

Unlikely.

Leafs best line normally looking like they're worst earlier on. Hemmed in twice already.
Detroit with some push back, but already in a hole.

Rangers 2-0. Zibanejad's first game back from injury and received a sick laser pass from Fox for the power play goal. Pace is good, would give the edge to Rangers though so far (besides the score).

Want to see more of Necas and Chytil playing against each other
