This has to be the last year the Hawks get this many nationally televised games , right ? Don't know why anyone thought after last season it was a good idea to put a struggling Hawks team on national television this much, AGAIN . Nobody could've actually thought Chicago was a contender.
The 14-15 Sabres, one of the worst teams of all-time, stunk it up on national television on 11 different occasions that season.
Do not underestimate how much NBC prioritizes ratings.

Its not like awful teams generate good ratings . Yeah certain teams have alot more fans than other but when those teams suck most people don't watch them and why would they ? Nobody likes to watch their team lose .

I can't think of another reason why Buffalo has been on nationally as much as they have been in recent years.
