Leafs were brutal again tonight (JT especially) and the Jets really capitalized on their chances, except when the net was empty .

Marleau the other night, Lowry tonight. Insanely selfish stuff with an empty net. He's racing down the ice rather than going to his guy. Or maybe not Lowry, who is #9?

Copp is #9, and yes that was very surprising and disappointing to see such a selfish play from him. He is normally a great two-way player and team first guy. He had one job here, and that was to cover his guy, Matthews.

Not sure if that is the case. Leafs adding Johnsson, Mikheyev and Muzz gives the Leafs 4 lines deep of Offense plus a fairly stable top 4 D.

Whereas Jets with Buf get a formidable top 4 that is as good as anyone in the NHL.

It will likely be close.

Leafs haven’t done nothing meaningful since since Sundin. This team has a long ways to develop and grow into a something that can make some noise in the playoffs.

We once had a lot more "high" end D men and our D game was worse.
Lesser names that try to care are greater than Bigger names that worry about the next money grab.

I don’t mean this disrespectfully in the slightest (especially bc Dallas used to be that team), but I consider myself a guy that follows hockey really, really, closely, but the Kings have about 5-7 guys that I’ve literally never heard of in my entire life.
