It was a text-book hipcheck, albeit after the whistle. Didn't go for the knee, didn't attempt to injure him, just sent a message. It's fair enough to be disappointed in his teammates for not standing up for him, but I always like to see guy sending a message with plays like that after the other team takes a cheap shot.

I agree with all that

but Weise has been gifted top 6 minutes for a long time now, the least he can do is stand up for his linemates when they get hit like that.

Always an entertaining game between wsh/mtl, doesn't seem to matter who the coaches are, always a similar type game between the two. Too bad with all these penalties though, would have like to see more 5v5.

Price is playing great, and I wouldn't be surprised if there's a fight soon.
