Couple of huge games in the West.

Jets vs Blues.
Wild vs Devs.
Kings vs Avs.

Teams battling for the wild card. Could be a big or bad day for all teams.

Two games just started and two early goals. That's a good thing.

Even if that NY/NY game wasn't on NHL Network, not sure I would still watch it. I get it's a rivalry but I wonder if it's just one of those things for the New York crowd. It's something I don't really care about all the way across the country.

These two teams play entertaining games.

So AV's game plan is have 4 guys cover Tavares and leave Bailey and Okposo wide open?

Are the Sens on a back to back? Why is Anderson playing against the Bruins and not the best and most underrated goalie of the Calender Year 2015?

I think its the Isles forecheck, its relentless. Rangers seem to do better against teams that trap, or play a more conservative forecheck, allowing their D-man time to make the first pass and start the rush. Still a lot of time to go, and this Ranger team scares the heck out of me. So a good first period...but its going to take a lot more of that from the Isles.

But Hasn't Hammond been playing out of his mind for the last month? Isn't now the time to ride the hot hand?

He has unexpectedly played extremely well but you go with the guy who gives you the best chance to win. Despite the streak that Hammond was on, that goalie is Anderson.
