I think it's Kovalenko here, he may never come over but he's probably got a better shot than anybody else remaining. I might have voted for Leivermann, since I've always liked him, but I'm not even certain we still have his rights.

Leivermann publicly said he’s going back to school so I guess that’s enough to keep his rights. If Weiss shows up back at school idk if Avs get rights back there or not, I doubt it.

Miner has a pro contract and he has played in the AHL. The rest of these dudes might never get that far.

Capfriendly says the rights are extended for another year if an NCAA player goes back for a 5th season.

That being said, Leivermann wasn't at development camp. So it's hard to imagine he's a realistic possibility for the future.

Omaha has its 22-23 roster posted and Weiss isn't on it. Things could change, but seems like he isn't planning on using the NCAA 5th year and his rights expired.
