HF Wild 2013-14 Fantasy Hockey (All hail the Double Yellow Liners!)

Okay so were getting close to the regular season so I guess it's time to get set for Fantasy Hockey.

I am planning on running a head to head - categories league this year. I may also run a head to head - points league if enough people want it, or someone else can run that league.

Categories I am going to be including are Goals, Assists, Powerplay Points, Goalie Wins, Save %, and GAA since these seem to be pretty much obvious for a categories league. Other possible categories listed below in the questionnaire.

I'll also make a poll for a couple possible draft dates and times once enough people have weighed in on their preferred dates and times. And since we have people in various places all over the world, state your time zone along with you preferred time.

I've done a few leagues with these as the 10 and they are good for pretty much everyone. Not too many categories that can be fluky(Hits/Takeaways/blocked shots) and are all statistically based and can be undisputed.

Fill in the Blank: Doesn't matter to me. As close to the season as possible. Don't want to draft during pre-season in case of injuries or real life waivers.

Hopefully we keep it to an 8-10 team league. The daily roster changes should scare away the people that gave up about three weeks into the season last year. That was beyond annoying.

6 peoples answers lined up with 6pm or later US time (which I am taking to mean central), one person wanted before 4, one wanted mid day, and 4 didnt care so I guess that means after 6pm US Central Time

Okay, so, there we have our league settings. Anyone have anything to say about other settings that werent covered? I'm going to set the trade deadline to the same as the NHL trade deadline. Max acquisitions per week I'm going to leave default at 4, standard waivers, 2 day waiver time, continual rolling list, minimum games played 3.

Anyone opposed to a 6 team playoff with division winners getting the top 2 seeds, and the playoffs occurring in weeks 22, 23, and 24? (season end is week 25)

Also, we have 11 stat categories. I personally dont care, but if anyone else doesnt want an odd number and wants either 10 or 12 categories, speak up I guess?
