HF Sharks Playoff Pool 2014 (Final Standings Updated)

Since the user who has been doing these the last few years hasn't been active it looks like I'll start it this year. Here we go.

RULES​

-We are just doing series winner and # of games this year

-Deadline to post your 1st round picks is Wednesday, April 16th at 4:00pm PDT, right before the 1st game starts.

-For later Rounds deadline is also right before 1st game

SCORING​

-Each Round is worth 100pts (Each series in Round 1 = 12.5pts possible)

-Weighted

-Full points for correct team and # of games

-55% for correct team (12.5*.55 = 6.88pts for right team)

-If you guess the correct team, 35% for 1 game off (12.5*.35 = 4.38 +6.88 for correct team so total of 11.26.) 20% for 2 games off

-If you guess the wrong team, 30% for correct # of games, 20% for 1 game off, None after that

EXAMPLE​

I say Chicago will beat St. Louis in 5. Chicago wins in 6.

I get 6.88pts for predicting Chicago (12.5*.55), and 4.38 (12.5*.35) for being 1 game off for a total of 11.26pts.

One thing I came up with to make the selection process easier is to make a public file on Onedrive (if you have it) and then password protect previous selections so people can't cheat.
