Jimmy Vesey is not a top 6 forward over JT Miller. Please change for next poll.

I don't really know how good Sheary and Guentzel really are at this point, but I still would pick Pittsburgh if the playoffs started tomorrow. Looks like the hardest 2 lines to match up against to me.

It's pens.

BTW Namestnikov>Killorn.

It's also insane that Kadri won't be top-6 for Toronto.

It's a little unfair leaving out our third/fourth best forward (Kadri) because he's a C.

Either way this is obviously Pittsburgh.

Dzingel has a better chance of being scratched than playing in our top 6 (at least with a healthy lineup).

MacArthur will be on that LW, if not Smith. White could be in the top 6 somewhere as well. Dzingel could surprise me but the general consensus is that he will start 3rd line, 4th line, or even as an extra forward.

The Wild don't have their proper top 6 forwards in the poll.

Parise is not one of them.

Granlund, Staal, Nino, Koivu, Coyle, Zucker.

Lines

Top line: Zucker - Koivu - Granlund
Second line: Nino - Staal - Coyle

Parise spent most of last season on the 3rd line.

Pittsburgh. Anytime you can throw out a top 3-5 centre in the league on your 2nd line you know things are good.

Pittsburgh arguably still have the top 2 overall best players in the league in their top 6. Top 5 for both for sure.

And Kessel is one of the best wingers in the league. Pretty easily them

Not sure how Kessel gets bumped up to the 2nd line when he rarely plays there,
Draisital gets bumped to the first line, when he'll likely play 2c this year,
but Kadri can't be our 2c over Bozak... especially when Kadri had more all situations and 5v5 ice time.

Appreciate the notes guys, but could you please tell me who they should replace?

Hoffman-Turris-Stone
MacArthur-Brassard-Ryan

Toronto is better than a bunch of those...I'll assume you forgot ;)

Crazy how overrated Toronto has gotten this summer.

82 Games Paces in 2016-17 :

Auston Matthews (19) : 69 Points
Mitch Marner (19) : 65 Points
James van Riemsdyk (27) : 62 Points
William Nylander (20) : 62 Points
Tyler Bozak (30) : 58 Points
Patrick Marleau (37) : 46 Points

Sens top-6 players in 2014-15 for example, 82 Games Paces :

Mark Stone (22) : 66 Points
Kyle Turris (25) : 64 Points
Derick Brassard (27) : 62 Points
Bobby Ryan (27) : 57 Points
Mike Hoffman (25) : 50 Points
Clarke MacArthur (29) : 48 Points

It's kind of close. Did you consider the Sens a powerhouse in 2015-16?

The Leafs are playing an all-offense style. The day that they will want to contend, they will have to tighten up and sacrifice some offense to do it.

I'm so confused...why are you using Ottawa numbers from 3 seasons ago??? And why are you taking Ottawa's top 6 scorers but not Toronto's? No idea how your point is even relevant..

Voted Winnipeg without thinking too much. I guess I should have, because it's Pittsburgh who I (and everyone else) should have gone with.

Also, Winnipeg should have Perreault instead of Connor as their sixth guy.
