Erie Otters goaltender Oscar Dansk (CLB) is the Hockey's Future Prospect of the Month for October. In eight starts, the Swedish goaltender posted an 8-0 record, a 1.75 goals against average, .921 save percentage, and two shutouts.
A second-round by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2012 NHL Draft, Dansk has been a big part of Erie's turnaround season, and a big reason they had a perfect record of 10-0 through October. He earned back-to-back shutouts on October 11th and the 14th, and has been otherwise steady for a star-studded team that does not allow a lot of shots.
