After a year-long hiatus, the moment you've all been waiting for - THE RETURN OF THE PREDICTION CONTEST.
I will finally have time in my schedule to run the contest again this season. I will post quarterly updates for contest standings, and it should run a lot more smoothly (compared to the 16-17 season).
I'm looking to change up the format slightly this year, but am open to suggestions. Here is the format I'm looking at:
Predictions:
1 point for the winning team
2 points for the final score
3 points for the first player to score a goal
10 points for everything correct
Cutoff for prediction entries will be scheduled game time, regardless of when puck drop actually happens (due to pre-game ceremonies, etc). Late entries will NOT be counted.
If anyone would like to see the contest rules changed, please let me know before the season begins, and we can see about some changes.
