Shen is also a very smart offensive player.

Went with McFaul. I'll preface by saying I know nothing about him besides what is said here, and have never seen him play. But it sounds like he's a long-term prospect who could pay serious dividends down the road if he develops.

He had a down year in Providence, so that's probably contributing to the lack of interest. Also, from reports, it doesn't sound like he has much upside besides that of a bottom 6 player. Kind of view him like a Blidh...He is what he is.

Think he'll be an early cut this year. He's got some interesting skills, but ultimately he doesn't do enough to separate himself on the ice and his skating is mediocre. He rode the coattails of Czarnik and it showed last year when he didn't have him. Think he could be an intriguing fourth-line winger, but I'm not very sure it will happen in Boston.
