This will be interesting to follow.

Will also be interesting to see if they, at some point, all play simultaneously on team Canada.

"Gagne wins the faceoff and send it to Gagne. Gagne skates up and dumps it in for Gagne. Gagne retrieves it and pass it back to Gagne who send it to Gagne. Gagne fakes the shot and pass it to Gagne who shoots... Gagne takes the rebound and scooooore!!! "

You forgot to add: « What a play by Gagne!! » and/or « Gagne really did all the work on that one. »

Fire the head coach!
Your guy must be the most pissed player ever lol

Imagine being 14 and wanting to play hockey for a team that year, being contractually obligated to a certain team. Said team keeps you on there MENS roster and sits you THE WHOLE SEASON. lol I would just ask my contract to be void and go play elsewhere.

Oh well hopefully next season.

Did Nahen even play apart from the WJC? I don't see any regular season or PO stats.

Season 3 Draft Analysis

Mid-Season Standings:
Mid-Season-Standings.png

Mid-Season-Standings-Part-2.png

francis246's Mid-Season Mock Draft:
:devils 1. Pokemon Go, LD - New Jersey needs some help on the back end especially on RD. But I think they grab the best player available who has experience playing pro.

:sens 2. Martin Gagne, C/LW - Ottawa needs a star offensive power house. They've got an expiring David Krejci as their #1 Center. Gagne would step right in and provide a boost to a lacking offense.

:kings 3. Martin Martin, G - With Ovechkin signed for one more year and Kopitar returning from injury for next season. LA is a goaltender away from being a dominant powerhouse. They've got a ton of draft picks ready to make the push and a young core. Martin Martin would provide stability.

:edmonton 4. Noah Jackson, G - Edmonton ends their goalie search and gets a stud of a wall to help them win games nightly.

:flyers 5. Jordan Jr Steele, RD - I believe Philadelphia would BAP and you can't go wrong with a stud 6'4 defenseman who is a rock defensively and will give you offensive output.

:bolts 6. Elisia Elissar, RD/LD - Tampa needs to address their aging back end. Adding the dynamic, smooth skating offensive threat Elisia Elissar would solve that problem.

:flames 7. Steve Gagne, RW - The big 6'4 winger would be an added offensive threat to the Calgary offense. The numbers and magic he could create with Monahan and Gaudreau would be unstoppable.

:panthers 8. Mathias Bauer, RD - A team that has been the definition of mediocre. They need an offensively minded defenseman who can move the puck and be a PP QB.

:coyotes9. Elliot Elessar, C/RW - A smaller but very skilled center. He would be an explosive talent that could make the Coyotes relevant again. He would be a good match with Clayton Keller.

:bruins10. Moritz Nahen, C/RW - Boston will be looking for someone to replace Bergeron and they will take the offensive dynamo Moritz Nahen who has been lighting up the DEL.

:sabres 11. Gunnar Grimsson, LW/RW - A pure shooter, someone who would be the perfect person to ride shot gun with Eichel and help lift this team into the playoffs. Buffalo would be crazy to pass on this offensive talent and they are happy he drops to 11.

:vegas 12. Kyle Gagne, D - Vegas has got a lot of offense and they need a stud defenseman to help them be competitive. Kyle Gagne is very under the radar but he would get the job done and log tons of minutes.

:hawks 13. Tadeas Papousek, C - They go with the kid who has a long family history of playing for the Blackhawks. They want to continue to add offensive talent.

:canes 14. Cole Gagne, LW - Carolina hasn't had a true offensive superstar in a while. Gagne would fit that young group and provide pure goal scoring.

:nashville 15. Lukas Rott, LW/RW - He can hit, he can score, he is the perfect powerforward and does everything Nashville loves. I don't think they'd be unhappy if he was on the board at 15.

:cbj 16. Sigurour Grimsson C/RW - A bit of a hidden talent, but he can pass and shoot with electricity. Another player who would step in right away and be the final piece to help propel Columbus for a deep playoff run.

:stars17. Josef Steele, LD - Dallas would simply take Steele because he would be the best player on the board. They are a team right in the thick of it right now but given how deep the draft is. Steele just makes their roster that much better.

:wild18. Berliner Mauer, G - I believe Minnesota would look to solve their goaltender issues and get a young goalie they can win with for the next 10 years.

:isles19. Everett Blank, C/RW - He is the best defensive forward in the draft, however there are a question marks on whether his offensive game would translate.

Nobody wants the German goalie. 19th ranked with those stats? Meh
Still midseason so it could be going better for the final ranking. Interesting that Mr. Mauer moved to the Straubling U17 team away from the higher classed Adler Mannheim.

Create to see a lot of German Boys in the NHL, hope my boys will follow the year after and catch a team where other Germans are playing.

Great work Francis with the midterm report, hope you will do it next season again!
