I had no idea this award has been around for so long. Hank is in some very good company, congrats Hank!

I'd love to see the difference in votes for Henrik and Daniel, Daniel is due!

Well done and well deserved. Just a reminder - this is an award for humanitarian contributions off the ice just as much as it is for leadership contributions on it.

Henrik is an extremely deserving recipient of this award. A true gentleman in every sense of the word.

Good to see Henrik recognized league wide. Very few more deserving.

Could definitely see both him and Daniel being contenders for this and the Masterton for the rest of their careers.

Is that our future captain in the official pic?

Speaking of captains...Henrik is a nice guy, all class, and a quiet leader...but I do look forward to a more demonstrative captain with a bit more jam, just for something different.

Can, too. Canucks plummet from playoffs to basement in one season. Who led them there?

Wow! I just watched this on youtube... Messier handed out the award, and with him standing right there Henrik named Kurtenbach, Smyl, Linden and Naslund as examples of captains to look up to in terms of what a good captain is off the ice.

Messier looked pissed! Beauty!:handclap:
