Help me think of a name for my hockey team please!

Hey guys. So I run a men's league team with guys from where I live, and we do a little traveling to different tournaments and stuff. The team has recently changed leadership (to me) and I'm looking for a decent team name/nickname.

I'm a fan of the names that don't end in plural form such as Rage, Fury, Rampage, Force, etc. But I also really like the "Red Army" nickname as well which I think is awesome. If another team didn't take this one already I would definitely use it.

Working off your screen name, and Train, how about the Express? It serves the dual purpose of ending in an "s" without being a plural.

The Express was the nickname of the USFL team based in Los Angeles, too.

Are you getting jerseys with your names on the back?

If so, get the Red CCCP Soviet jerseys, call yourself RED ARMY and get all your names (or nicknames) with "ov" or "kin" added to the end....

aka.... "Murphyov" or "Smithkin"

You'll certainly get a few chuckles out of the other teams in the tournament.

Speaking of Red Army, one of the most imaginative names for a rec league team was in university. The chemistry department students put a team in and called themselves C3P1.
