Tanev is traded for a much worse and older defenseman with more meat and potatoes. The Canucks re-acquire Jason Garrison just to trade him again for a poor return. Horvat is sent directly to the ECHL. The Canucks reveal that the advanced stats they use are all scrum-based. The Roger Neilson statue is replaced with a Jim Benning statue (with a mini-Weisbrod lurching behind him).
