Hawks back in race for #1 in '07 draft

Yes after ther $12million warchest for ufa's got them not much (Lalime!) --the Blackhawks surely will be league doormats again and in great position for the #1 or #2 pick ...surely PITT with Malkin won't finish below them this time...Maybe STL will challenge them again for last--but if EJ forgoes Minnesota to go right into the NHl with the Blues=who knows...

With most of the Hawks kids percolating in Norfolk this season--it would be too much to expect the "great" cam barker to make much of a difference in the Haks' fortunes...Dead last looks like a good bet ...

If only the Hawks listened to you ... i'm sure you could've snagged Elias and/or whatever ufas you had the high, hard one for.
