Doubt even that. He has 2 points this year. He literally is only brought in for faceoffs.

I'm thinking a 4th and maybe Shawn Lalonde/Phillip Paradis?

I like it...

he's great on draws, good size (something the hawks lack up the middle after Toews) and tho his skating has never been regarded as good, gaining puck possession mitigates that drawback...

No word yet on what they gave up for him...he's most definitely a rental & had been a healthy scratch on SJ...so hopefully just a 5th round pick

No way they paid more than a late round pick or a nothing prospect. Handzus is only playing 13 mins a game this year.

Edit - Never mind...4th rounder sounds about right. If he only has 2 points on a slow Sharks team, I don't know how well he'll do with a much faster Hawks team.

The Sharks are a bubble team and clearly, faceoffs aren't as big a deal to them as they are to Chicago.
