I like Milan as a player the most but based on commitments probably Backes. Easier to jettison move.

Woops didn’t see that Backes had the shortest term. I was just looking for the salary and player that I thought could bounce back. Knowing I wouldn’t take a risk and just get Backes though.

Backes isn't a bad contract. Random health issue last season but can still play while bringing leadership and grit. Even if he's slightly over-paid, teams need players like him to actually, y'know, help them win hockey games and brings value to the next generation of kids. Plus he's versatile if need be.

Eriksson and Ladd are both basically cooked at this point.

Unless Looch has a big rebound Backes has the most "left in the tank" (but that isn't saying much). Plus it's the shortest term.

Plus with Backes on the Bruins already I know what I'm getting with him, so I'd keep him over the other 3.

Voted Backes AINEC and see most agree. Less years and still useful tho overpaid - just not as much as the others tho i also think Lucic will rebound

Backes has the shortest contract and performed the best last year. He also is only due 2x2.5 in real money starting on 7/1 next year so should be easy to move to a non cap team.

To me Backes>Ladd>Eriksson>Lucic as players, those middle two tend to get underrated due to their contracts.

Backes was actually pretty good last year when not injured, especially considering he was recovering from some pretty serious issues
