Have there been any polish czech hockey players?

Seriously, I tried thinking about it and I have no clue. Though I should, coming from Ostrava.

Maybe Tomas Marcinko (and his father Miroslav)? Sound like a potentially Polish surname.

Sounds a bit Slovak though. But it's very much the closest you can get, without choosing Polak :)

A whole lot of Czech surnames could have potentially originated from Poland. Take out č, insert cz, take out š and put in sz and so on... The tricky part is figuring out when and where it's appropriate.

I thought of more:

Bedřich Ščerban -- a good D, possibly with Polish origins.

Jiří Šejba -- a good forward, I can imagine him named Jerzy Szejba -- or something like that.

Radek Duda -- could be Polish as well -- a good forward and even greater headcase -- could have accomplished much more

Another one, maybe:

Jiří Lála -- Jerzy Lala -- well, anyone?
