Derrick Rose was the youngest MVP in NBA history in 2011, but since then, injuries have reduced him to a decent starting PG who averages ~17 points per game.

Stamkos has been affected by injuries, but not to the degree of Rose. Also, when Stamkos struggles, it seems to be mental.

Since '12 he has missed a lot of games...reg season and in the playoffs.

Right now, it would not be out of bounds to call him injury prone.

He needs to stay on the ice for a few years otherwise that moniker will be permanent.

Stamkos has had 2 injuries in 9 years. Simmer down lads.

Yeah - but those 2 injuries cost him about 110 games. And then another non-injury that cost him about 25 more.

It's a legitimate concern. He has been healthy in 1 of the past 4 seasons, and in the other 3 he has missed *significant* time.

If they were all very similar injuries then yes. A broken leg due to slamming into the post, a blood clot and a torn meniscus on the opposite leg are not related. Rose has glass knees.
