First time I heard the song was before Game 1 of the Summit Series.

Could not believe Canada's anthem was so much better than ours.

Have my first Canada Day off in over a decade and there`s not much to do so my much more significant other and I have planned a huge hike with our pooch followed by tossing a few large slabs of meat on the grill

No disrespect to our Canadian brethren, but for me an American, Happy Canada day is commemorated on September 28 going back to 1972. That was the day this occured.
