Even though he did play the 2nd most minutes last year, it'll still be an adjustment to play with Phaneuf and against the top competition most nights (assuming he does end up with Phaneuf). Should be an interesting year for him and I'm wondering what his contract will be looking like... I'd prefer a JVR-esque gamble (cheaper contract) since we have the cap-space this year, but I bet we see the bridge contract that was reported a week or two ago.
