Still willing to pay top price for shiny new things

Continue the ludicrous discussion on getting Ladd, Byfuglien, etc.

I'd rather keep Daley because it looks like under Sullivan he's thriving. He's been our 2nd or 3rd best D IMO.

Move one or several of Kunitz, cole, lovejoy, Bennett, bonino, plots for anything.

Apparently, according to a Tampa beat writer, we're still in for Drouin.

IC, can you confirm that. :P

Drouin for Pouliot would be a wild move that I would really love (I think). Not sure how the team would respond to that.

I'd be curious as to how much Drouin's situation's impacted his value. Everyone thinks it has to be a high prospect or significant roster player, but I imagine Drouin's value has taken a bit of a hit.

What if you could get him for Sprong + Cole + 3rd, or some such?

I doubt they'd take Cole, but yeah I'd add to Sprong (to a certain extent).

As a general rule, the Penguins don't showcase players with the big club. Would also add that they are fighting for their playoff lives and Pouliot got 11 minutes last night. Not really showcase material.

What do you think about the Cole situation?

Are they trying to dump him?

Seems strange to sit him for a guy you only give 11 minutes to, not that im complaining. Basically is Pouliot playing more about him or Cole.
