Seems odd since Halifax still has the higher win percentage of the two teams but oh well, I'm sure they'll both move in and out of the #1 position until the end of the season.

The loss to Quebec is what did it.

The CHL Top 10 is an arbitrary thing anyway... as long as they are still 1st in the Q, that's all that matters.

And the drive for #1 got a little easier this weekend ... 4 points, including beating the team that is chasing us ... Little chance we cough up the top seed, but our biggest game of the year comes this Wednesday against the new #2, Rimouski.

9 straight for the Oceanic and have Val-d'Or tomorrow ... Gonna come in hot.

While I agree with you... Portland has won 5 in a row and haven't done anything to lose the #1 position.
