With Hudon, Andrighetto and Bournival all under six feet, as well as other top prospects Artturi Lehkonen, Martin Reway, Daniel Audette and Christian Thomas, you have to wonder how many of these players will be able to crack the lineup in the years to come. These players, in addition to Plekanec, Desharnais and Gallagher show that Montreal’s roster is just way too small when considering the LA Kings had only one player in their lineup under 6’0 when they won the Stanley Cup last year.

Are the Habs still too small to compete?

They may be small, but they seem to be a very tight and feisty bunch this year...

I don't see any of the players you mentioned having a career in Montreal regardless. All are redundant players who won't make an ounce of difference in the future. Probably trade bait and AHL careers.
