My understanding based on many posters here is that any goal, even goals that result from a defensive lapse in the deep slot, are Carey Price's fault becuase he makes 10.5 million and THAT trumps whether he was left out to dry or not.

At least that's my current understanding of it.

My understanding is that goalies are NEVER supposed to make up for mistakes in front of them and that no matter how good they are supposed to be, they are not expected to make any save which are the results of a mistake in front of them.
